Better than the other buffets around here, but not as good Vegas. Just to clear up some confusion they do all you can eat crab leg's during the weekend Friday - Sunday and on Monday through Thursday it's by the pound. Selection is descent enough with prime rib/turkey station, mexican, italian, and asian stations. The food near the Mexican and Italian station were kinda sad. Most people were lining up for the prime rib, crab legs and asian stuff which also included Pho. There's also a huge salad bar too and a great selection of desserts! Although not the best crab legs, it's still ok if you eat a ton to make it worth it. If you don't then not sure if it's worth it for you. Our services staff was great though and probably why I give this 4 starts instead of 3! She was very attentive and cleared out our empty plates quickly every-time we got up to get refill our gluttonous bellies! haha

Let me say the food here is awesome! Great selection and almost everything tastes awesome. My favorites are the deep fried jalapeno crab leggies, Won-Tons, pizza and all of the wonderful desserts! This really would have been a 4 or 5 star review if they didn't take away the all you can eat crab legs!!! Now they charge $8 per pound! That is so lame, come on Ameristar, we know that you are making a ton of money off the games, can you at least be fair about the food?? Ever since the change we have started eating at the Monarch buffet which offers all you can eat crab legs and gives you a lobster for 18.99 per person! Be on the lookout for my review on the Monarch. If Ameristar happens to bring back the all you can eat crab legs I will be happy to revise my review and continue frequenting their establishment. #missingmycrableggies

Shockingly good pizza. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. Not too excited about sitting next to a lady who went through several buckets of crab legs. Great cookies as well!

Food was pretty good! Especially the dessert. For being a buffet I think it's the best one I've been too! The waitress we had was awesome! Very nice and attentive! I wish I would have gotten her name.

I stopped in for a couple of hours on the slots after a trip up Evans Mountain. The buffet is better than I expected. A very nice salad bar with lots of "somewhat" healthy choices. The freshest and tastiest food is in the Asian section. All the vegetables are fresh and the meats are tender. I didn't paarticularly like the tofu stir fry, but that could just be me. Most of the other dishes are rather dried up looking and appear to be previously frozen. The desserts are worth saving room for, and the service is friendly.

I was really impressed the last time I went here for an early birthday celebration for my husband. Had to celebrate 3 weeks early because I went on the Nutrimost diet.... It's all fun and games till your jeans don't fit anymore. Anyway, the staff is very professional and on top of things. For a buffet, the waiters are very attentive. Refilling drinks, clearing plates and emptying the crab bucket frequently. On top of that, they come around and talk to you, making sure the service is up to par and everything tastes alright. Ok, so my favorite dish ever is crab legs. I always get them steamed when I eat up in black hawk, but it was chinese new and they had a lot of Asian dishes including some stir fried crab legs. They were lightly coated in a crunchy layer of flour and tossed with a jalapeño/garlic sauce. A little but messy, a whole lot of flavor and finger licking good!!! Probably the best crab legs I have ever had. I usually go to the lodge to eat because my meals are comped but ameristar blew them out of the water. I don't mind paying $27 per person for the quality and quantity. Even the mash potatoes were off the chain. Real potatoes, creamy, mashed with a hint of garlic and butter. Mash potatoes are usually bleh at any buffet but not this one. They had a huge selection ranging from Mexican, Italian, Chinese and american. They even serve pho!! Every dish there was outstanding! The dessert selection is heavenly. Individual servings of apple, coconut, chocolate silk pie, s'mores, chocolate fondue fountain, bananas fosters, strawberry cheesecake, raspberry chocolate chip ice cream. Needless to say- for my last good meal for awhile, I'm sure glad I went here. The couple at the table next to us was laughing because I ended up having to lay down in the booth. I over indulged but it was worth every spoonful. This buffet is the best up in Blackhawk. Their hotel, spa and casino are also top notch. After my diet is over, I'm looking forward to posting more reviews and photos!! I'll post about this diet plan eventually but it involves resetting my metabolism because I enjoy good food too much to give it up completely!

The staffs do not look like they are there to work they are very social able with each other but to customers it's like they just have an attitude. No smile no greeting just tell us how many people and go sit. It was an unwelcoming environment and it wasn't worth coming here. The food is alright but not worth the rude staff members.

It's a casino buffet, so you have to figure that some stuff will be better than other stuff. And that's exactly the case here. Went on a Sunday night and apparently there were no crab legs that night, so that was a bummer. They had a good variety of cuisines, though I wouldn't quite go as far as calling them "ethnic", since they're mass-produced to serve the crowds. But probably most people would be able to find a few things they liked well enough. I won't go through all the items, you can decide for yourself what type of food you prefer. Some looked more appetizing than others, and generally the taste reflected the look. Other reviews mentioned strawberries at the dessert station with the fondue, but we didn't see any even though they would have been in season. The minimal available fruit on the salad bar was pretty fresh, so I'm not sure what the story was there. The service was pretty good, and they get points for accommodating a larger group, even with a sizable dining area. Most buffet items were restocked fairly quickly, and they had a good number of staff to cover a weekend night. All told, not bad, not outstanding, probably gets the job done for most of the captive audience at the casino.

Came here for Thanksgiving because it's cheaper than the city. Highlight of the day was the creamy pumpkin soup. Asian station serves the nutritious Bok Choy and sweet and spicy cucumber cold dish. Price was elevated for the holiday, 25 dollars a pop. Drink is pretty cheap and service is attentive. Overall pretty good experience .... just go there early to avoid the line!

  • Alex L.

Great service and warm atmosphere. At least the desserts and fruit are the most edible things. I would recommend staying away from the tri tip and and any other beef substance they may offer. The pasta is tasteless as are the soups. The list goes on. However, if you're here for dessert, fruit and soda then have at it for the $12 lunch buffet. Still not worth it.

Food you get here is comparable to golden corral, only you pay $20 per person here. They used to have crab legs which was worth the price, now they don't.

There isn't a comparison to the gargantuan buffet feasts in Las Vegas and the more sublime affairs in Colorado's limited gaming towns. In terms of venues that try to emulate the Las Vegas experience, the Centennial Buffet inside of the Ameristar Casino arguably comes the closest. That isn't to say that the Centennial Buffet is a high quality level - this is largely a strap the food bag on and chow down type of affair. Still, a variety of different kinds of meat (tri-tip, ribs, and barbecue beef) were all pretty tasty and somewhat redeemed the overall cost of the experience. The Asian area of food was very disappointing, as it was largely bland and not fresh (at 5 p.m. on a Thursday). The dessert and Italian areas were both pretty good though, and it's possible there may be too much variety and choices to sustain the business this buffet attracts on some days. In all, not a bad choice to partake in Black Hawk or Central City, though be aware that a slightly improved version of Old Country Buffet may be what you are getting.

I really used to love this place, but I can't say that these days. Everything is just okay. The managers don't seem to have a clue anymore, the servers aren't very quick, and the hostesses act like they are doing you a favor for seating you. The food is basically the same, though, maybe not AS good as it used to be. Maybe I have a sour taste already due to the lack of decent service. The food area seems to consistently stay filthy. There's always a big buttery mess on the floor (on the nights they have crab legs). This has always been my go-to buffet when I'm in Blackhawk, but I have recently been finding the others much more pleasing.

A wide selection of different cuisines inside Ameristar Casino. The dessert bar has a chocolate fountain and chocolate strawberries. Also had cotton candy when I was there. A wide selection if breads and plenty of seating. You'll be waiting in a line on the weekends.

We went here 3 times already, the first 2 times were on the Sat night, which was pretty good food to eat...Thats why we'd decided to come back, but this time i pick Thurs night before Valentines Weekend hoping less crowded place...When we were there i was surprised that it was only about 30 people in the dinning room, so i asked the cashier lady was that normal for a Thurs night?, she answered " this is a good crowd for Thurs night buffet." We paid 17$ pp instead of 24$ pp for the weekend, we'd found out that Thurs night there is no Crab legs...we were very disappointing, we proceeded to eat and i must say we both were very disappointed about the food choices and quality there that night!...the food seem old and not as fresh, we had the Vietnamese Pho there it was good, we like that...the rest were very greasy and fattening food...We will Not come back for Thurs night again... We were both agreed that with the price, Golden Coral Buffet is much better place to eat and the price only 14$ pp. We drove home very unhappy meal...it was an 1.5 hr drive for us up the hill... real bummer

Staff is very nice. Food is similar to Old Country Buffet with more variety. We liked that they served beer.

I'm not sure of a better buffet for the money in the Denver metro area. No really. The food has always been good to damn good. The prime rib could use a little extra attention but there's just churning those things out - it's understandable. Come grab a quick meal and then prepare yourself for a night of gambling and drinking. woohoo!

I think until now I am still "drooling" or still thinking about Centennial Buffet since I like the KING CRAB LEGS to eat to my HEARTS content err in this case or opportunity to my stomach content! YES for the FRIDAY evening of March 23rd 2012, we, the ladies and I opt for to eat here AGAIN, just for the KING CRAB LEGS, to name a few for ($21.99) each person. For that amount indeed its worth just to eat those KING CRAB LEGS. We decide to have an early DINNER. Time was @ 16:30hrs ish. I am missing this place just by writing this review, and still think about their KING CRABS LEGS, the food spread and the desserts to name a few... I know for some its nothing, but geez I cant help it but drooling about it.. On a sweet note, I end my evening @ Centennial Buffet with their endless array of desserts. Hehehe :P @58/2012

So my boyfriend and I decide to try out this buffet, and we read the reviews and thought it would be good. Once we got there they told us that the crab legs were only giving on Fridays, well we went in anyway and it was about 35 dollars for both. We grab food a variety and we both only ate the mash potatoes because that was the only good thing besides the friendly waitress everything else did not have flavor. I do not recommend this place. I was not going to complain but once the waitress saw all the food left on the plates she could not help to ask if we were okay, and I couldn't help to say that we couldn't eat anything she grab the manager. The manager insisted she was going to bring a chef to let him know what is wrong w the food, personally I think being the manager she should of handle this better but she just had a huge smile on her face and did not seem concern or appeared to have empathy anyway at the end she said she was going to only refund one meal, but I did let the manager know that at-least the mash potatoes were good not worth 17 dollars for a serving of mash potato, also the best buffet by far is legends of Asia I love that place.

I don't pretend to be a buffet aficionado but I thought the food options were pretty good. If you are a crab leg fan or can eat a lot, totally worth the money. If you are more a salad for dinner person this probably isn't your route. The line on a Friday night was fairly long and that was more a function of the cashiers being slow as opposed to the tables being full or the food lines themselves being busy. Don't be caught off guard when you need to decide what you want to drink before you are seated. Now I'm not normally the kind of person who wants to eat my moneys worth in volume but I did like that you could get a little bit of everything from carving station to crab legs to the Asian station. By the time I went to bed I was pretty happy I had stopped to have a big dinner (something to soak up all the free drinks we later consumed). It is what it is. If in the mood for a buffet I would totally do it again.

Dos buffets on a Thursday night: $38-something ($16.99/person). Eh. Relative to Vegas, pricing wasn't bad. And relative to Vegas, it wasn't up to Vegas standards. As high of standards as one can have for a buffet. Of the dining options at Ameristar, I figured the buffet would be the best value for the money (something very important when throwing money away at a casino). If Dude wanted steak, he could have it (buffet steak... yum!), or shrimps. Or lasagna. Or pork dumplings. And I could have cafeteria mac 'n' cheese, veggie lo mein, green salad, and two decent desserts out of four tried! With that in mind, we both decided that it seemed as if every other thing we tried was good. So, basically a 50/50 chance it's going to suck or be pretty good. Be it salads, entrees, sides or desserts -- these odds remained true. Better luck than on the casino floor that's for sure! There was plenty of vegetarian stuff available (if you like cheese and potatoes) from many food types: Italian (lasagna and stuffed shells), Asian (lo mein, fried rice), salad, Amurkan (that mac 'n' cheese), dessert. The CB has a soft-serve-type machine that is more like frozen custard. It was actually quite delicious, and one of the best dessert options I tried. Service was nice, though it took a bit to get our waters. Servers and bussers moved quickly to clear and clean tables for a steady line of customers coming in. Most of the buffet was clean. Some of the serving utensils were scalding hot so it was kind of difficult to dish out some of the foods (unless you want second degree burns with your sauteed veggies, yeah?). I'd probably eat here again if we were staying at Ameristar. I can't say for sure if I ate $17 worth of food, but again: $20 here or $20 on the floor -- at least here I always win with Ambrosia salad (true story).

I am a pretty picky gluten free eater who only eats chicken as far as meat is concerned. I must say I was a little hesitant to eat here at first as there weren't too many options for lunch for me besides salad bar and a few other items. My mind was changed when the executive chef came out, showed me what was gluten free exactly in the buffet and then prepared a completely fresh, made from scratch plate of chicken breast in a lemon and white wine reduction sauce with mixed vegetables. It was very delicious! Then he brought out a plate of all the gluten free dessert options. So nice! Thank you for your kindness and consideration! This place is great!

Food quality is not that good, especially for the price. Some food items just too salty... My child even had bones in his boneless chicken. Staff seemed lethargic and uninterested. They seem to feel they have a monopoly as it's difficult to move around in the immediate area and restaurant competition is limited.

Some of the food is made and then left forgotten hardening overtime. Lunch special is pretty decent can't deny the decor or friendliness of staff. Would definitely recommend coming and enjoying a lunch or dinner.

This is a good Vegas style buffet. They have a wide selection to choose from. There is a different station for each kind of food like seafood, mexican or chinese. They serve steamed crab legs for dinner. The desserts selection was awesome. Expect a long waiting line on weekends. Eat here and you might feel like a winner and forget all the money you just lost on the slots LOL

After long wait in line (30 min) and reading some reviews I had maybe too high of expections. What a let down! I mean, I guess the food was okay. The service was good. The food , not so much.

Have been here twice in less than three months and I must say I love this buffet. For dinner in Black Hawk, this is my favorite buffet. The variety of food is wonderful (they have decent kim chee) and I haven't had anything there that wasn't delicious. Both times we went there were during a week night, so this may account for my next statement: the workers were SO FRIENDLY & COURTEOUS!!! I haven't been to a place before or since where the wait staff and workers were so friendly. I am a fan, and will return the next time we go up there

  • John D.

Service was excellent. Our waitress Magdelena (sp) removed finished plates often. Even the other waitresses would stop by our table. The food was well above average. I highly recommend. The attitude of all the staff was so different from what I have seen at other casinos were they are so unfriendly, just showing up for work. Visited 10/11/14

The wait and inefficiency of utilizing tables automatically takes this down 1.5 stars. This includes the service as well. We waited for over an hour and saw 7 unused tables in the area by the line at all times. Tables were left unclean that could have easily been bussed and then used for another party. The decrease in another 0.5 stars is the decrease in food quality. I understand it was busy due to the holiday but the empty tables for over an hour is unacceptable.

Let me start out by saying that I'm not a buffet person, it's kind of a waste of money on me. (I do not eat my fair share of food for the cost. Plus "potluck" style meals has always given me a little bit of anxiety.) This buffet is good. There is a ton of choices and a lot of options without meat. I'm not a vegetarian but I did not want to eat meat the first trimester of my pregnancy so I was happy to see a lot of side dishes. I'm a fan of "crappy style" Mexican so I loved that section. And they had some of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. I would avoid the green bean casserole. That was pretty bad. The desserts were abundant and yummy. I just wish they had the crab legs on the night we went for my hubbs. He really wanted some crab legs. He still talks about this buffet and I could see him wanting to go back to Black Hawk just for the food.

I was hungry in-between gambling so I hit the buffet. I haven't been @ 'Centennial' over a year and thought the food was about the same. Nothing spectacular but nothing terrible. The Duck salad was delicious. The meat was tender, flavorful, and had nice texture to it. The Linguini w/Clams was ok. It was a bit salty but when it has to sit at a station for x minutes, it's hard to have it served the way it ought to be. The dessert bar didn't wasn't as in-depth as it was a few years ago. For example, they use to make this pyramid shaped mousse that was absolutely awesome. I suspect they had a professional pastry chef back when. Today, it's very generic with the usual cookies, cheese cake, pies, etc. BTW: the server never asked to refill my drinks until I was on dessert. That was probably 20-30 min after sitting down at the table. I don't complain because I'm not high maintenance but if I had to call it for what it is, he was inattentive (he was young so I chalk it up to the youth factor).

Only $12.99 for a weekday lunch. We ate that much food and then some. They had everything from prime rib, Asian, Italian pizza, a big salad bar and lots of desserts. It was not that busy and the staff that were there were moving a little slow in my opinion. They were not quick to remove dirty plates. The staff working behind the buffet were hard to find when needed. So, for $12.99 it was fine.

This is a pretty good buffet! The casino/hotel is new, so it's pretty clean, and they have great service! The food was pretty much the same as regular buffets, but they had a good carved meat station. Everything is very fresh and freshly made, and there are specialities such as make your pasta and pho. And the desserts are awesome! What a treat!

  • Sarah W.

The food at this buffet is awesome. Friday-Sunday nights they go all out - Prime Rib, crab legs, pasta, asian, and mexican food bars, huge salad bar - all for just $21. I would love to give Centennial Buffet 5 stars, but the service and LONG wait brings them down to 3. We have been to the buffet two times, the first time our server didn't have more than 30 seconds to talk to us. Every time we asked for something it took at least 10 minutes to get it. The food was so good, we went back. The second time we arrived at 7 on Saturday night. The wait was 2 hours. When we finally got in, it turns out there was no wait at all, they were actually slow, they were just creating a wait so people would gamble. Ummmm...no thanks. As delicious as it was, I don't know if we will be back

Here's the scene: It's my girlfriend's 29th birthday, and all she wants is a crab leg buffet. While this concept may seem like a pipedream in landlocked Colorado, there is a mecca for this type of gluttony just up the canyon in BlackHawk. We were not content to simply raid the buffet, making the ownership of the hotel forever regretful of their business model, we had to prepare. We went out during the day, skipping every meal and smoking copious amounts of marijuana so as to maximize our hunger-rage. We got to the casino, deliriously low on calories and out for blood. Stop to grab some mixed drinks while we sort out the maze of slot machines - for only $2 a piece. As we sat in the overly decadent bar area in the center of the casino, a salmon colored beacon of salvation appeared to us - the crab leg buffet was just to the west of our current position. We had done our homework, and knew it opened at four p.m., and wanted to get ahead of the rush of calorie starved habitual gamblers. This did not work out well as the line was already 30 deep by the time we got in it. At first this was a huge blow to morale, but our drinks were still full and things were not getting desperate yet. The line moved remarkably quickly; maybe 10 minutes on the outside before we were being efficiently shuffled to our table. My one complaint is that the table was too small to reasonably fit multiple plates, and the place doesn't offer cafeteria style trays one comes to expect when embarking on a culinary journey such as this. Once seated, my girlfriend got in line to get the crab legs. A man came and handed her a MASSIVE plate of crab legs(at least 4 or 5 crabs in total), and she returned to our table with a renewed sense of her mission. I, on the other hand, decided to try my hand at some of the other offerings, of which there are many. Their asian, Italian, and American style foods are absolutely above par for a buffet setting. We proceeded to eat until we could no longer stand the monsters we had become. This was a pretty decent crab leg buffet.

I really love fine dining. My expectations of the food and service is super high and when it's met or exceeded, I'm in heaven. Yet, my expectations at a top vegas buffet would be different and therefore one in Blackhawk is adjusted even more. With that said, this was a really good buffet that I can't wait to come back to. We actually did a cursory walk through and were initially turned off by all of it (except for the obviously ample dessert station). There was nearly no carving meat, ziti looked dry, and pot roast was nearly empty, to name a few. So we had our drink and made the move, what did we find? Super tasty carved prime rib, I think the ziti was pesto and it was delicious, pot roast cooked well, just adequate asian food (oddly enough because there was an asian dude right there cooking it) but I was told he made a mean pho, and the bountiful dessert station where everything tasted great- especially the wonderful bread pudding. It took a 2nd trip to even notice the large horseshoe salad bar which had the cutest mini-wedge salads (I can't believe I just wrote that). Too bad the fruit was not fresh and inedible. We paid $17 each. There were no crab legs that night (maybe mid-week). It was very good and we want to return.

Not really a foodie place, but if you are in black hawk for some gambling fun, this is a great place. Seems between 7-8 it is VERY busy, long line, we got there earlier so it was easy. As mentioned, we went for the king crab legs, as far as buffets go these are really good. I tend to like variety so there are all sorts of other stations ( American, Asian, Mexican, Italian, Salad Bar) which makes it fun to try different things. If the food wasn't so good, I would have knocked it down to 3 stars as the service was basically non-existent. Couldn't even get a water glass refilled. Good thing my anger was masked in a food coma, but perhaps order more drinks initially to make sure you stay hydrated.

Great Buffet, and even better when its technically free. I gambled some points and used a voucher. Kudos on the hostess asking if you have ever been before, and when you say NO. They explain the whole layout of the stations to you. Its nicely planned and the food is fresh. They even have PHO which i love but didnt try this time around. Even the attendants at the stations and the servers are so polite and friendly. Nice Dessert bar with the chocolate fountain and yes they do have Sugar Free desserts.

Food was great, I haven't been to a buffet that had such a variety like Centennial. The staff was very friendly and our waitress was great to go and exchange our soda after we were given diet instead of regular. I will come back again.

This place was just okay. Nothing outstanding. The food was very average. We went for a lunch buffet on tuesday. They had two different kinds of pizzas (very greasy), two kind of pasta dish (very bland), fried chicken, BBQ ribs, roast pork & beef, fish & chips, some asian dishes, sandwiches and chips again, mexican dishes (tacos & fajitas) , a big salad bar and dessert bar. My favorite of all was just chips. Chips are thick-cut home made. Very crispy and I wanted to grab a handfull to take home. The selection of food is not big. I think Golden Corral has more selections with better food quality with lower price. The lunch buffet at Centennial is $12.99. It is not worth it. The customer service was good. Our server was often checking on us to fill our drinks and remove used plates. Since this was the only place we have eaten at in Blackhawk, so maybe it is the best in town, but I was not impressed at all.

Well, I was going to rate this buffet 5 stars but I have mixed reviews now. First visit was a Sunday night. The food selection, food quality and staff were 5 star all the way. I read one review about not having enough vegetaran choices, but there were tons... in addition to a huge salad bar, they had tofu dishes, eggplant parmesan, cheese enchiladas, cheese manicotti, pho without or with meat/chicken, vegetarian spring rolls, pasta any way you like it, veggie pizza, pesto pizza, cheese pizza, an entire veggie only bar, vegetarian soup. For the meat eaters, they had prime rib, turkey, many different variety of meat dishes. The prime rib was done to perfection with that nice crust and wonderful au jus, horse radish, or horse radish sauce. It was The Best Buffet I've ever eaten at, and the staff was spot on wonderfully awesome in every way.. friendly, quick service, attentive without hovering, quick refills of drinks, quickly removed dirty plates. I thought "Wow, this is almost worth coming all the way up here just to eat." Then, we went back for Monday lunch. Ugh. Poor food selection, food wasn't the right temperature, staff didn't seem to care as much, had to ask for refills, foods not labeled what they were, food was a little greasy. I can barely believe it's the same place. I did have the opportunity to talk to management and told them I was shocked at the inconsistency. He admitted to having a different staff and having problems with labeling, and the staff hadn't turned the hot tables on!! I appreciated his honesty and quickness in responding to fix the situations we had mentioned. Good thing Monday wasn't our first trip or we wouldn't have gone back. Sunday night The Best. Monday, OK. Average rating? Good.

I've eaten at Centennial Buffet at least 3 times in the past year and it's a great buffet! They have everything from A to Z. I especially LOVE their crab legs - I don't hold back either. :o) Great place to eat with big groups because there is something for everyone. The last time I visited our server was Dominic and he was awesome. He cleared our plates every 10 minutes and refilled our sodas without having to ask all the while with a smile on his face. We tipped him big too as a thank you! I always make sure to take my member coupons that offer 2 for 1 at Centennial Buffet - remember that!

Good food. One of the best buffet I have tried so far.

Really quite good. A little pricey and closes early. $18.99 and closes at 10. I don't eat much seafood or red meat so it probably isn't worth the price for someone like me. The salad bar is really scrumptious with fresh grated parm and blue cheese crumbles. They had a really good, fresh fruit salad also. All the food was fresh and they kept putting out new stuff even as 10 pm got closer. I tried to smuggle out a carmel apple that looks sooo delish but it really didn't work out too well. Stupid napkin and carmel being all sticky. I would definitely return when I have more time to sit and be gluttonous.

We never can figure out where to eat when we go to Blackhawk (we don't go very often). We've tried a few other restaurants at other casinos and a couple of buffets. Nawsogood. Well we took a party of fifteen up here for a B-day party and actually liked the majority of stuff Ameristar's buffet had to offer. Let me first say this, "This ain't Vegas.". Don't expect gourmet quality food but this is much better food then your Country Buff/Golden Corr/Furr's cafeteria type food (well except for what all these places call mexican fare. sheesh.). Try it and if there's better to be had, let me know. Viva Las Vegas.

It's a decent deal, and it works when you have people who want very different things, but it's not really any better than most other typical American buffets. You can be selective to make the most of it -- go for the omelettes made to order, carved meats, fresh salad, etc. It's easy to bogged down in the fried foods, but that's pretty much every buffet, isn't it? The service was nice as well, clearing plates and bringing us beverages pretty quickly.

We have eaten here a few time, always disappointed. Last time we both were sick (runs) before even leaving the place. Not much variety, lukewarm and mediocre food. Only thing good is all you can eat, but this is limited by all you would want to eat.
